By MATT PIKEThe St. Joseph Police Department earlier this month conducted a targeted traffic enforcement along the Belt Highway in an ongoing effort to reduce crashes and improve safety for drivers on the roadway. St. Joseph Police recently released the results of the traffic operation. The operation was held along the Belt Highway, according to St. Joseph Police, due to it being one of the cities highest crash corridors. The operation conducted on July 10th resulted in 41 traffic stops, 11 citations and 33 warnings the St. Joseph Police Department reports.
