Moderate to heavy rains have hit the erstwhile Nizamabad district. Due to incessant rains since last night, water level in local streams and rivulets has increased. While the project's full reservoir level is 1,405 feet (17.802 TMC), the current level stands at 1,395.40 feet (7.139 TMC). For comparison, on this day last year, the water level was 1,391.25 feet (4.597 TMC). The project's full water storage capacity is 9.657 TMC, while the current storage stands at 7.17 TMC.
