Ration Card beneficiaries in Telangana are set to receive their rice quota for another three-month period at once. The three-month supply of food grain for April, May and June was distributed in a single phase this year. Some dealers have expressed concern regarding the lack of adequate storage space to accommodate the bulk delivery of the three-month rice quota. With another three-month stock allocation arriving all at once, dealers managing a large number of ration cards are concerned. They are urging officials to supply the rice in phased installments over a ten-day period instead.
