City Council delayed action on approving a consultant to lead Evanston’s zoning code rewrite Monday night as both councilmembers and residents expressed concerns about a lack of options. The city’s zoning code rewrite is the second step of Envision Evanston 2045. Code Studio is a national zoning firm that boasts experience in zoning code updates in major cities like Los Angeles and Detroit.
