Traffic will be sent around via Roman Way, Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Road, and Worcester Road. From August 17, Meadow Road in Catshill (B4185) is set to close between Wildmoor Lane and Stourbridge Road for up to three days of resurfacing, with diversions via Stourbridge Road, Sandy Lane, Halesowen Road, Golden Cross Lane and Gibb Lane. On the same date, Hillview Road in Rubery will shut between Barrington Road and Woodlands Road for 12 days of footway reconstruction, with no weekend working; access will be via Barrington Road, Cleves Road and the unaffected part of Hillview Road. Little Heath Lane in Lickey End is also planned to close from August 17, between Alcester Road and Meadowvale Road, for eight days while Cadent replaces a gas main. Drivers will be diverted via Alcester Road and Meadowvale Road.
