The events, which have become a popular fixture for many local families, will run from 12pm to 3pm at locations across the district. Fun days will take place at Lingfield Park, Catshill (B61 0LJ) on Friday, July 31, King George Close, Sidemoor (B61 8SW) on Friday, August 14, and Charford Recreation Ground, Lyttleton Avenue (B60 3JP) on Friday, August 28. As well as games, crafts and entertainment, the fun days offer residents a chance to speak directly to bdht staff about their homes, and to meet representatives from local partner organisations including the police and charity NewStarts. Kate Harvey, support manager at bdht, said building community is central to the organisation’s role as Bromsgrove’s largest social housing provider. She described the fun days as events that 'go from strength to strength' each year and thanked local partners and individuals who help make them possible.
