Baptist Memorial Health Care is aiming to hire 100 new physicians over the next five years to meet the demands of the Golden Triangle.
“The health care system that we have today is not necessarily the health care system that we need to have for the growth of tomorrow,” Rhodes said.
Since its purchase the facility, now renamed Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County, has regained its Level 3 Trauma and Care status and kickstarted Baptist Onecare MyChart, its online health care record-keeping system.
Rhodes was asked by a Rotarian if there are any plans for expansion to better address medical care needs out in the industrial park as more sites come online.
“I think we are certainly excited by all the growth there,” Rhodes told The Dispatch.
