Buckinghamshire Council has approved plans to invest in 3 Globeside, Marlow, before leasing the entire building to a prospective tenant. However, a cabinet report reveals that the prospective tenant is a “major occupier” currently based in High Wycombe. “This enables the letting of a council-owned asset to a prospective tenant that has expressed strong interest in leasing the entire building on competitive terms." The landlord’s works will be funded from earmarked council capital reserves, while the prospective tenant will contribute separately towards its own fit-out. They also approved the procurement and delivery of the refurbishment and the release of a project budget from earmarked capital reserves.
