Unsolved woodland murder reaches 20th year as police issue fresh appeal

On July 29, 2006, the body of 23-year-old Beata Bryl was discovered in woods off Hedsor Lane.
Her body (Image: TVP)The Polish national had been brutally murdered before her body was set alight.
Peter Beirne, principal investigator in the force's Major Crime Review Team, said: “Our investigation into the murder of Beata Bryl remains open after her body was sadly discovered in woods near Wooburn Green on July 29 2006.
Over the years, Thames Valley Police has launched a number of appeals in an effort to solve the case.
