Mr Mitchem said: "When you look at the amount of water that's being flushed away, you just think, 'Hypocrites'. "We've had enough problems with Thames Water around here and it's ridiculous seeing so much water being wasted." Mr Mitchem said he had noticed Thames Water vehicles in the area and believed preparations may have been made for works, but no repair has yet taken place. "If they know about a leak, acknowledge it online and tell people when it's going to be fixed," he said. Responding to the concerns, a Thames Water spokesperson said: "We've investigated the leak and now we're planning the repair.
