Chesham Fire Station's main fire engine and Rural Firefighting Vehicle attended the blaze near St Leonards. Crews tackled the fire and bought it under control to prevent it from spreading further. The local farmer assisted crews by using a telehandler to turn over the smouldering pile, allowing firefighters to fully extinguish the fire.
