Granola has launched an Apple Watch app that lets users record and transcribe in-person meetings without taking out their phones. The AI note-taking company expects the wearable app to be particularly useful during walking meetings, conferences and spontaneous conversations. Users can add Granola as an Apple Watch complication, allowing them to start recording directly from the watch face. Granola considered integrating with separate hardware but decided that developing an Apple Watch app would be simpler for users who already owned the device.
