Sales volumes fell for a second consecutive month as average sold prices continued to rise. A total of 27,612 used electric vehicles were sold during June, down from 30,367 in May and below the 34,932 vehicles sold in April, which remains the strongest month on record. The average sold price of a used electric vehicle reached £22,603 in June, up from £21,564 in April, a 4.8% increase and representing the highest average sold price since January 2026. It said the figures suggest the rapid growth in used EV sales seen earlier in the year may be beginning to ease off. “Sales volumes have eased over the past two months, but at the same time average sold prices have started to strengthen.
