The Beatles’ 1965 album Rubber Soul is to receive a major new deluxe reissue this autumn, featuring newly remixed audio and previously unheard recordings including “Little Girl”, a previously unheard John Lennon song outline that has never before been released or publicly documented. Universal Music Group and Apple Corps Ltd have announced that an expanded Special Edition of Rubber Soul will be released on October 2. The expanded editions offer fans unprecedented access to the making of Rubber Soul, bringing together 24 early session recordings, including 20 previously unreleased takes and three previously unreleased home demos. The book also includes rare photographs, detailed recording notes and essays examining the album’s creation and legacy.
