Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The Government of Jalisco has taken another step toward transforming sports infrastructure in Puerto Vallarta, with state officials recently inspecting the progress of the new High Performance Center at the Alfonso Díaz Santos Sports Unit, commonly known as La Bobadilla. The project follows an announcement made by Governor Pablo Lemus in May, when he confirmed that construction of the High Performance Center was scheduled to begin in July with an initial investment of 80 million pesos. The complete renovation of the Alfonso Díaz Santos Sports Complex is expected to total approximately 200 million pesos. Once completed, the renewed High Performance Center will provide a first-class environment for athletic development while serving thousands of residents who use La Bobadilla for sports, exercise and recreation.
