Watch : Idaho Murders: What Surviving Roommates First Told Police Revealed in Netflix DocNetflix is giving viewers a fuller picture of Bryan Kohberger. The streamer's new documentary Idaho Murders: College Nightmare shares more insight into the 31-year-old, who pleaded guilty to the November 2022 murders of Idaho college students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin before recently filing to withdraw his plea. His phone only contained 18 contacts when authorities seized it upon his arrest, according to digital forensic experts at Cellebrite, which the FBI recruited to help with the case. "It is so abnormal," the company's senior digital forensic expert Heather Barnhart said in the doc, "to have someone that communicates with that few people in life." But his apparent social struggles began long before, as Idaho Murders: College Nightmare highlighted how Kohberger confessed to feeling disconnected from society in online forums over a decade ago.
