Seven juvenile American alligators, bred at Crocodiles of the World near Burford in Oxfordshire, have been relocated to Barbados as part of an international conservation collaboration. The reptiles, offspring of resident alligators Albert and Daisy, are the first of their kind to be introduced to the Caribbean island and will be housed at Paradise Nature Park. Mr Foggett personally accompanied the alligators during their journey, overseeing their departure, flight, and arrival in Barbados. The aim is to raise public awareness about crocodilians, endangered species, and the importance of wetland conservation. Mitchel Hird, managing director of Paradise Nature Park, welcomed the new arrivals.
