Nesta Jones and Carol Whittle, who have spent a combined 94 years as members at the historic Oxford Golf Club on Hill Top Road, spoke about their experiences to mark the club’s 125th anniversary. Now based at Oxford Golf Club on Hill Top Road, Mrs Jones has embraced every aspect of the club, from playing to social events. She said: "Playing golf is a fabulous way to spend your time. "I’ve been playing at Oxford Golf Club for 44 years, and never have I hit the same shot twice. "The 125th anniversary of Oxford Ladies Golf Club presents the perfect excuse for us to inspire the next generation of players to pick up a club.
