The drugs were found in the hotel room on November 17, 2023. The jury heard the defence case is that the drugs belonged to a man called Jack Bowers and that he left the drugs in Hitchcox's hotel room. Mr Knight told the jury Hitchcox had five convictions in the last six years. Mr Knight told the jury that MDMA tablets cost around £10 each. He was asked about the drugs found in the hotel room and he gave no comments.
