The German discount giant Aldi has revealed its expansion plans, as it aims to make affordable food more accessible to communities, according to the Retail Gazette.
It already has a total of nine shops across the county, with two in Oxford alone.
This year it has worked towards its long-term target of 1,500 locations nationwide, investing more than £370m.
Now, it is looking for freehold, leasehold or long leasehold sites in prominent locations with good visibility and access.
Jonathan Neale, Aldi UK's managing director of national real estate, told the Retail Gazette it is focused on identifying the communities that would benefit most from a new Aldi store.
