Roads are expected to be busier than usual, and congestion is expected in the area with Dyfed-Powys Police advising drivers to plan their journeys in advance. A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Starting this weekend (Saturday, August 1) thousands of visitors will flock to beautiful Pembrokeshire to celebrate Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru in Llantwd. Visitors travelling by car are being advised to follow the yellow "Eisteddfod" signs which are there to support the flow of traffic, and to allow extra time for their journey. Those travelling to the Eisteddfod by bike, train, or bus can find all the directions and information they need to get there here. – Make sure you follow the yellow "Eisteddfod" signs to get to the Maes, which are there to help the flow of traffic, [and] plan extra time for your journey.
