Greater Anglia services are affected with disruption expected to continue until further notice as trains are being delayed on multiple routes. The affected routes include London Liverpool Street to Ipswich, Norwich, Clacton, Colchester Town, and Braintree. A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: "There is an emergency heat-related speed restriction in place between Ingatestone and Chelmsford. "Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption." Passengers holding advance purchase tickets will be permitted to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
