Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Foundation purchased a portion of 125 West End Avenue for $188 million. The portion of the building is about 340,000 square feet and is intended for a new research center, according to Fortune. The home, which traded to another trust, spans 4,700 square feet, breaking down the sale to around $3,500 per square foot. The home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms over about 1,800 square feet, as well as an 830-square-foot private terrace. The single-story office space measures about 8,500 square feet.
