An attempt to avoid striking a deer resulted in a single vehicle crash late Tuesday night on I-169 in Christian County. According to the Christian County Sheriff’ Department, around 11:16pm, the driver of a southbound truck, near the 18 mile marker, about seven miles north of Hopkinsville, swerved in an attempt to miss the animal, causing his truck to cross into the median and overturn, coming to final rest in the northbound lanes of the interstate. The driver was transported to Jennie Stuart Health. No further details have been released as of this time.
