If a dealer in Ghana tries to sell you an MTN SIM card for more than GH¢10, they’re breaking MTN’s rules—and the company is cracking down. Any dealer caught breaking the GH¢10 price cap risks losing their accreditation to sell MTN products, according to Nii Adotey Mingle, MTN’s General Manager for the Northern Business District. MTN has now made clear that this practice will cost dealers their license to sell MTN products.
