Celts Are Here
Kris Boyd believes Celtic have sent a message with the signing of Kasper Høgh, describing the Danish striker as a “statement signing” after his record-breaking arrival from Bodø/Glimt.
The 25-year-old became Celtic’s second signing of the summer on Tuesday after completing an £11 million plus add-ons move and signing a four-year contract, with the club holding the option of a further year.
It has been a frustrating transfer window for many supporters.
Speaking to SunSport, Boyd believes Celtic have landed exactly the type of player supporters wanted to see arrive.
Whether Høgh proves to be the catalyst for a busy finish to the transfer window remains to be seen.
