Michaela Walsh, and brother Aidan, both brought home gold medals from the last Commonwealth Games in Glasgow four years ago.
PICTURE: PATHREE-TIME Commonwealth Games medallist Michaela Walsh finally steps between the ropes in Glasgow on Wednesday afternoon.
At just 19, Brown faces a big step up in her bid to seal a medal against a highly experienced opponent.
However, it was at those 2014 Glasgow Commomwealths that two-time Olympian Walsh announced her arrival on the international stage, returning with silver after pushing reigning Olympic champion Nicola Adams all the way in the flyweight final.
Walsh is one of six Team NI boxers between the ropes, with co-captain Caitlin Fryers getting the ball rolling.
