Rodney Morton (57) and his 28-year old son Jack admitted causing grievous bodily harm to the injured party at Markethill livestock market last March. Whilst Rodney Morton was handed an 18-month sentence, a 12-month sentence was imposed upon Jack Morton. After the auction began, both the injured party and the Mortons began bidding on the same calf. The injured party noticed that Rodney Morton appeared agitated and appeared to mouth something to him.
