In a ruling published this week, the employment tribunal dismissed Mr Livesey's accusations of bullying, but upheld that he was unfairly dismissed and discriminated against on the grounds of age. In one internal email, Mr Haire described Mr Livesey as having a "brittle mental state" and warned it was "too late to teach him new tricks". A hearing to decide how much compensation Mr Livesey is owed will be held in October.
