Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova met with Speaker of Ethiopia’s House of Federation Agegnehu Teshager on July 29 as part of her official visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The sides noted that Ethiopia is interested in further developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in areas such as trade, investment and tourism. He particularly praised the application of the “ASAN service” model in Ethiopia and highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s technical support in this area. The Speaker of Ethiopia’s House of Federation noted that Azerbaijan pursues active parliamentary diplomacy and is represented in many international parliamentary organizations. Speaker Sahiba Gafarova emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation on these platforms.
