A little more than a month before the start of training camp, the Rockets announced 18-year-old centre Jakub Frolo has signed a standard WHL agreement. Frolo, from Vsetin, Czechia, was taken 33rd overall in the draft, a selection obtained in a deal with the Seattle Thunderbirds. “He plays with an edge, he makes plays and he’s the type of player who makes everyone around him better.” Frolo joins fellow Czechia natives Vojtech Cihar and Tomas Poletin on the Rockets roster heading into the 2026-2027 season.
