The theft happened at about 2:05 p.m. Friday at Jade Buffet West Kelowna. Young said the restaurant had more cash on hand than usual because of the large group. "It's a chaos right now, I'm telling you, because the homeless problem, it's a big issue right now," Young said. Jade Buffet West Kelowna is asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the theft to contact the restaurant or local police.
