The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and the City of Penticton are seeking volunteers to serve on a new Regional Economic Advisory Panel that will help guide economic development across the South Okanagan and Similkameen. The eight-member panel is billed as providing independent advice to the RDOS Board of Directors and Penticton city council, helping establish strategic priorities and annual work plans. The panel will include four members appointed by the RDOS and four by the City of Penticton. RDOS Board Chair Mark Pendergraft said the panel will bring together diverse perspectives to identify opportunities, address challenges and support regional economic growth.
