According to the Regional District of North Okanagan, a new system connection will soon help supply water to area crops.
"Reclaimed water will be blended into the existing system to help supplement water supply and support agricultural users in the Bella Vista area," the RDNO said.
The City of Vernon previously pushed to expand the agricultural reuse of reclaimed water during their July 20 council meeting.
However, water levels at Kalamalka Lake continue to drop, remaining well below historical averages and provincial targets.
