The BC Wildfire Service says a planned ignition north of Clinton has been completed for the day. The ignition was planned for an area north of Clinton and west of Highway 97 to the fire's edge. "We will look to complete the remaining section of the planned ignition at a later time, when conditions are favourable," BCWS said in an update. He said more information will be provided about the outcome of that planned ignition as it is completed in the afternoon.
