Residents of Mlolongo town in Machakos county are demanding answers after businessman Jimmy Mutava was allegedly seized by armed, masked men and has not been seen since. She further alleged that Mutava had been summoned by the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) of Mlolongo Police Station to meet at Bijou Hotel, where the two were in conversation shortly before the abduction. "Alikuwa na OCS wa Mlolongo Police Station. Na mpaka saa hii tumezunguka usiku wote jana mpaka saa hii hatujamwona nyinyi," Ndinda said. Mlolongo resident Josephine Mutani questioned why the men did not simply take Mutava to a police station if he had committed any offence.
