The Senate Minority leadership has tabled sweeping committee changes that would strip Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna and his Vihiga counterpart Godfrey Osotsi of their seats on two of the Senate's most powerful financial oversight bodies. Under the changes, Sifuna would leave the County Public Accounts Committee (CPAC) and be reassigned to the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries.
