Doniphan County Sheriff Mark Allen announced that Jeremy Peak of Hiawatha will be the new undersheriff starting July 31. Former Undersheriff Brendan Wolvington has accepted a position with the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska. Peak, who previously worked as a deputy in Brown County and Atchison County, will join the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Allen made the announcement at the Doniphan County Commission meeting.
