BTS to snub the Grammys: “We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is”South Korean boy band BTS have confirmed they won’t submit their music for Grammy consideration in 2027. It comes after the Recording Academy recently announced the introduction of the ‘Best Asian Pop Music Performance’ category for 2027. While BTS have previously been nominated at the Grammys, they have never won an award at the ceremony. BTS aren’t the first major act to shun the Grammys in recent years. The Grammys have yet to comment on BTS’ decision.
