Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has added the female breast vests to its CPR mannequins to better reflect female anatomy during training, support more inclusive education, and improve outcomes for women experiencing cardiac arrest. Sara Almeida, lead resuscitation officer at Royal Papworth, said: "Every second counts when someone experiences a cardiac arrest and everyone deserves the same chance of receiving potentially life-saving treatment. "The introduction of these breast vests, thanks to funding from Royal Papworth Hospital Charity, will allow us to create a more inclusive training environment that better reflects the patients we care for." The project was supported by the hospital’s library team and women’s network, with funding provided by the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity.
