However, I could afford a car payment, manicures and haircuts, rent, groceries, my daughter's sports programs, birthday parties, and entertainment. Thank God my vehicle is paid for. I do not participate in any type of entertainment. I do now have a house payment instead of rent, but even with homeowner's insurance, it is less than what I would pay in rent. If I want to do anything fun, like go on vacation, I have to pick up a side job to afford it."
