Coming in at #8 for Pleasantville top sports stories of the 2025-2026 school year is Addie Koenig qualifying for the state wrestling tournament in her senior season. Koenig has been a staple of the Trojan wrestling program for several years and ended her senior year with a trip to Coralville for the Girls State Wrestling Tournament. Koenig punched her ticket at the Class 1A state qualifier meet hosted by Williamsburg on January 30th as she finished second in the 145 pound bracket. Koenig fell in her first two matches at the state tournament, but put together a strong senior season.
