Fundraiser Set Up For Family Who Lost Home In Gżira Fire
['Ana Tortell']
Lovin Malta
A fundraiser has been set up for a family who was forced to sleep in their car after they lost their home in Gżira fire that broke out in an ironmongery.
Colleagues of the victim set up a fundraiser with a €30,000 goal explaining that the blaze spread to the residential apartments above, leaving her home uninhabitable.
She and her family spent the following days sleeping in her car until temporary accommodation was arranged for the next two months.
The family now faces total uncertainty as they wait for the legal process to be resolved and they can begin rebuilding their lives.
