BRS seeks regularisation of GO 76 lands in KothagudemBRS leaders have accused the Congress government of delaying the regularisation of SCCL lands under GO 76 in Kothagudem. They demanded a White Paper on pending applications and urged the government to announce a timeline for issuing pattas to eligible beneficiaries. It may be recalled that the previous BRS regime had issued GO 76 in August 2019 in view of the long-pending demand of locals who were living unauthorisedly on SCCL lands. Kothagudem MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao failed to fulfil his election promise of regularising lands and issuing pattas under GO 76 within 100 days of being elected. The party leaders Rangaraju Rajesh and Bathula Srinivas said GO 76 benefited a large number of residents in Kothagudem, Bhupalpally, Asifabad, Adilabad, Mancherial and Peddapalli districts, as the lands were regularised in two phases.
