New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon on Wednesday shortly after proceedings began, as Opposition members staged protests demanding Union Home Minister Amit Shah's presence in the House and a reply on the police crackdown on students.
Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi is expected to participate in the debate at around 12.30 pm, making it one of the key highlights of the day's proceedings.
Ahead of the debate, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju expressed hope that Rahul Gandhi would address the legislation in detail.
