Summer vacation will soon draw to a close, and the Nevis School Board has approved a number of policy changes that will affect district operations in the 2026-27 school year. Approved a resolution regarding the use of student support personnel aid. Approved the hiring of long-term 5th grade substitute teacher Mike Weerts, serving while Katelyn Rittgers is on maternity leave. Approved its membership renewal with the Minnesota School Board Association, costing $7,896. Accepted bids for milk (Prairie Farms Dairy), bread (Pan-O-Gold) and fuel (T&M Express) for the 2026-27 school year.
