BEMIDJI — Three former Birchmont champions won their qualifying events on Tuesday at the 102nd Birchmont Golf Tournament.
ADVERTISEMENTIn the newly-formed Grand Master’s Division, Doug Taylor, a two-time Master’s Division champ, led the field of 75-and-older players.
Ewing, the 2024 Execs champ, won the Senior Division medalist honor with a score of 144.
Ewing beat out Brad Anderson and Cory Fairchild for the Senior Division medalist crown by one stroke.
Wilcox will play against six-time Birchmont champion and 2025 Senior Division winner Curt Howard, who will enter the Master’s Division next year.
