Will Rixon takes driver’s bag on US racing holidayTOP young NSW harness racing driver Will Rixon will be missing from Aussie form guides for a while after this weekend.
Rixon, 25, is going to the US on a holiday to experience some of the world’s great racing, starting with the upcoming iconic Hambletonian meeting at The Meadowlands.
Rixon will stay with friend and former Aussie star Todd McCarthy, now one of the top drivers in North America for an extended holiday.
“I’ll be taking my driver’s bag, but it’s more about a holiday after a big few years,” Rixon said.
“I want to experience all the great racing over there and I’m excited I’ll be there Hambo time.
