We’re beginning to see how Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has built in avenues for different ways to coordinate between players now that the Machinist class has been shown off in greater depth. The man’s a very versatile addition to any squad configuration, bringing plasma weapons that tear through Xenomorphs like they’re barely there. Of course, the Marauder would be great company for the Machinist in any fight, and that flamethrower should be perfect for catching any stray Xenomorphs that slip past his defences. Of course, that’s a slim possibility given that the Bodyguard comes with artillery upgrades that can be quite devastating if it’s deployed against groups of Xenos looking to make a meal out of the Machinist. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is out on August 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
