Cup Match is our way of carrying that legacy forward, expressing not only through cricket, but through family, friendship and community. I congratulate Somerset Cricket Club as hosts of this year’s Classic and thank the executives, volunteers and members of both Somerset Cricket Club and St George’s Cricket Club for preserving one of our greatest institutions. On behalf of my family and the Government of Bermuda, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, joyful and memorable Cup Match.
